All error codes starting with F01 to F11 are valid for Indesit and Ariston 2000 washing machines.
Starting from F01 to F12 - for washing machines Indesit - a new series of "Evolution".
From F01 to F15 - for washing machines with drying.
If your washing machine has only one indicator light (EVO-I control system), then the error code is determined by the number of flashes in one cycle, after a pause. Thus, if the indicator flashes eight times, then pauses, then 8 more times and then means that it is error code F08, similarly for other errors. The decoding of the codes is the same as for the other series of washing machines Indesit and Ariston.
Error code Error code interpretation Probable malfunction of the washing machine
F01 Short circuit in the control circuit of the CM drive motor
Check the connection of the electronic module of the washing machine
Check the contacts and the presence of water.
Check the motor connection for mechanical damage to the wire breakage.
Replace the electronic module of the washing machine
F02 The signal from the tacho sensor about the rotation of the drive motor is not fed to the electronic controller
Check the contacts of the CNE connector on the electronic module of the washing machine
Tighten the motor connection terminals.
Check the connection between the motor and the electronic module.
Call the motor windings.
Ring the tachometer winding.
Replace the module.
F03 The temperature sensor is faulty, or the heater water heater relay is "hot"
Check the contacts of the CAN connector on the electronic module.
Check the temperature sensor wires.
Check the integrity of the wires from the sensor to the connector.
Replace the sensor or module.
F04 The water level sensor (pressure switch) is faulty The water level sensor simultaneously generates the signals "FAN" and "EMPTY TANK" (although only "EMPTY TANK" should be generated). In this case, water is poured into the CM tank to the level of "TRANSEL". As a result, it turns out that at the same time the bay is turned on (the water inlet valves are open) and the water drain (the drain pump is on). In this case:
Check the reliability of the connection between the electronic controller and the level sensor, as well as the sensor itself.
If the listed actions did not reveal the faulty element, the level sensor and the electronic controller
F05 The drain pump does not work or the level sensor does not generate an "EMPTY TANK" signal after the discharge mode
Check the reliability of the connection between the electronic controller and the drain pump.
At the time of the alleged activation of the drain pump, check the presence of mains voltage on its contacts.
If this does not happen, check the pump itself (having supplied 220 V), its connectors, and an electronic controller.
Check the level sensor, as well as its connection to the electronic controller.
Check the filter and drain hose for clogs.
Successively replace the pump, presostat, electronic controller.
F06 Error in the buttons of the washing machine display
Check for the presence of a contact in the connectors and harnesses between the controller and the control panel.
Check the serviceability of the buttons on the control panel.
Successively replace the control panel and electronic controller.
F07 The water heater is not submerged in water
For CM with EVO-II controllers:
Check the reliability of the connection between the pins of the connector and the electronic controller and
Level sensor.
Check the condition of the level sensor.
Check the serviceability of the heater by measuring its resistance (between terminals 5 and 6 of connector J3): for example, for a 1800 watt TEC, it should be about 25 ohms.
Successively replace the heater, level sensor and electronic controller.
For SMs with EVO-I controllers:
Check the wiring and the presence of a contact in the CM1 connector of the controller.
Check the serviceability of the relay TEN on the controller.
Replace the electronic controller.
F08 The heater of the washing machine (ТЭН) in the breakage or the level sensor is stuck in the "full" position.
Check the contacts of the CN1 connector on the module.
Recover contacts on the heater.
Reconnect the level sensor.
Replace the heater or level sensor or module
F09 Failure (content error) of non-volatile EEPROM memory Replace the electronic controller or replace / overwrite the NVRAM.
F10 There are no signals from the level sensor (the tank is not empty, but not full)
For CM with EVO-II controllers:
Check the reliability of the connection between the contacts of the electronic controller connector I and the level sensor.
Check the level sensor: closed contacts. 2-4 in connector J3 correspond to the state "EMPTY TANK", contact. 2-3 - "FULL TANK", CONT. 2-1 - TRANSFERS.
The level sensor and the electronic controller are successively replaced.
For SMs with EVO-I controllers:
Check for the presence of a contact in the CM connector on the electronic controller.
Check the integrity of the level sensor, as well as the integrity of the wiring from it to the electronic controller.
Replace the electronic controller.
F11 No feedback from the washing machine drain pump
For CM with EVO-II controllers:
Check the reliability of the connection from the contact. 8 and 9 of J9 (or from terminals 1 and 2 of J15 if the SM has an Easy Door function) of the electronic controller and to the drain pump.
Check the serviceability of the drain pump. The resistance of its winding should be about 170 0 m.
Successively replace the drain pump and electronic controller.
For SMs with EVO-I controllers:
Check the integrity of the CN1 and CNF connectors on the electronic controller.
Check the condition of the level sensor and drain pump.
F12 There is no communication between the indicating module and the electronic controller
For CM with EVO-II controllers:
Check the integrity of the connections between the J11 connector of the electronic controller and the indicating module.
The electronic controller and the indicating module are successively replaced.
For SMs with EVO-I controllers:
Check the connectors of the electronic controller's SMS.
The rest of the actions are the same as above
F13 The temperature sensor of the washing machine is disconnected from the drying system
Check the contacts of the CAN connector on the module.
Check the integrity of the wires to the drying temperature sensor.
Replace the temperature sensor or module.
F14 Drying does not start (for "Margarita 2000" CM with drying, EVO-I controller)
Check the connections between the electronic controller and the drying heater.
Check the TEN drying and electronic controller (replacement).
F15 Drying the washing machine does not turn off
Check that the CN1 connector on the backplane is correctly connected.
Tighten the connector.
