BAXI Brand History

BAXI, the world famous manufacturer of heating and hot water technology, was founded by the Westen family from Austria, and it happened in the distant 1924. After decades, the company became the undisputed leader in its field. In 1978 she became a member of Zanussi (Zanussi Climatizzazione).

For long 6 years she produced wall and floor gas boilers, electric water heaters, heating radiators and steel baths, and then withdrew from the Zanussi and became known as Ocean Idroclima. Once again, she joined the group El.Fi. It was there until 1998. In 1999, it was again renamed BAXI S.p.A. So she entered the holding company BAXI GROUP.

Since 2009, the company in the group BDR Thermea, which is the largest manufacturer of engineering equipment on the planet. Currently, BAXI is focused on the manufacture of heating boilers. The company is still in Italy the leader among those who specialize in wall-hung gas boilers.

In the range of products that the company produces in large volumes, a variety of models and modifications of wall-mounted gas boilers. For example, single-circuit, two-circuit, atmospheric, turbine and condensation. By the way, in 1993 BAXI S.p.A. was one of the first in the industry to receive the ISO 9001 quality certificate. And in 2001 - the environmental certificate of production ISO 14001.

The research potential, as well as access to BDR Thermea's finances, gives the company the opportunity to remain on the leader's position. And in a situation where the market for products that have low carbon dioxide emissions - for example, mini-power plants with the ability to generate heat and electricity - is growing.

The priority task of BAXI is to develop innovative technologies for heating, as well as high-efficiency heating boilers. In the assortment of the company there are already solar collectors, heat pumps, biofuel boilers, coherent plants.

Since 2009, when BAXI GROUP joined the BDR Thermea group, the company has some other well-known brands in its portfolio. It implements a variety of heating technology under these trademarks.

The assortment of products manufactured by the company now consists of wall and floor gas heating boilers and storage water heaters. These groups of goods allow the company to make its main turnover and be known in the world market.
