The German company Buderus dates back to 1731 as a plant for the casting of cast iron. At the end of the 19th century the plant started production of sectional cast iron boilers, the design of which has not undergone significant fundamental changes to this day. The company was founded by Johann Wilhelm Buderus in 1731 as a blast furnace plant for the production of cast iron and castings, including elements for furnaces and hearths. Thus, for 277 years Buderus produces cast iron for its boilers exclusively in its factories using a special patented technology. It is quite natural that, having so significant experience, the concern produces the highest quality boilers. Buderus was the first in the field of heating technology to open the Information Center (Lollar, Germany).
