De Dietrich Brand History

The history of the company De Dietrich began in 1684, when Jean Dietrich bought a smithy in Jaegerthal. In 1761, his grandson, receives nobility from Louis XV and becomes one of the most powerful men of Alsace and creates his industrial empire from forges.

 

In 1778, Louis XVI awards Jean de Dietrich with a registered trademark in the form of a hunting horn to protect products from fakes. Today, this De Dietrich logo is a symbol of the highest quality.
