1916 - Alfred Millows establishes the Guardian Frigerator Company and presents the first refrigerators with a cooling system as part of the refrigerator.

1918 - General Motors bought the company and changed its name to Frigidaire Corporation and began using the trademark "Frigidaire".

1921 - The first all-metal refrigerator was produced.

1924 - 1926 - Air-cooled compressors, direct condensing condensers and metal housings for domestic refrigerators are presented. Commercial refrigerators are presented.

1929 - Presented home air conditioning and freezer. The company Frigidaire produces a millionth refrigerator and starts selling equipment all over the world.

1930 - Box with high humidity for storing vegetables and fruits.

1931 - The non-toxic, non-flammable "Freon", as well as the odorless refrigerant-fluorohydrocarbon, which is now the standard for the entire refrigeration industry, began to be used.

1936 - Completely steel casing.

1937 - The first electric stove Frigidaire was made.

1938 - The first window air conditioner is presented.

1947 - The first automatic washing machines and electric dryers Frigidaire were manufactured.

1948 - The first combined refrigerator-freezer with a completely separate freezer.

1950 - Presented for production 30-inch electric cooker.

1952 - The first automatic defrosting chamber, "Cycla-Matic".

1954 - Frigidaire introduced an automatic dishwasher.

1970 - The first washing-drying complex, the Laundry Center, was manufactured.

1979 - Frigidaire Companies became part of the White Consolidated Industries.

1986 - Frigidaire Companies and White Consolidated Indastries becoming part of the Electrolux concern.

1996 - All manufactured products of Frigidaire are ISO 9000 certified.

1997 - Washing machines with front loading, reduced noise and economical consumption of water and electricity were developed.

1998 - The water filtration system of the "PureSource" type was introduced.

1999 - Frigidaire produces 70% of refrigerators manufactured in the USA.

2001 - Introduce the line of new generation refrigerators under the motto "Accuracy, perfection, prestige!"

2004 - Frigidaire brings to the market refrigerators of the European standard (60cm depth) equipped with a new system of forced air filtration.

2005 - On the market are presented "paired" refrigerating and freezing cabinets, a large volume (946 liters).

2006 - Industrial freezing chests with the system "know-frost" are created.

2007 - Frigidaire presents a new generation of Premier Collection refrigerators with advanced compressor, new design and color solutions.

2008 - Frigidaire celebrates its 90th anniversary.
