Check the status of the error code / repair part

OP The freezer indicator is open on the freezer display. Check the wiring between the thermistor and the board. If this is correct, replace the thermistor.

Thermistor (temperature sensor)

SH The freezer is shorted on the freezer display Check the wiring between the thermistor and the board. If this is correct, replace the thermistor.

Thermistor (temperature sensor)

OP Fresh fresh food sensor, open fresh (refrigerator). Check the wiring between the thermistor and the board. If this is correct, replace the thermistor.

SH Fresh power sensor shorted on the fresh food display (refrigerator) Check the wiring between the thermistor and the board. If this is correct, replace the thermistor.

SY EF Evaporator fan circuit error Check the wiring between the evaporator fan and the control panel. Check the 12 VDC voltage between the red and brown fans. Check the option voltage (depending on the high or low speed) between yellow and brown. If the evaporator fan is replaced correctly. If the error code still exists, replace the control board.

DF No defrost circuit Check the wiring between the defrost circuit and the control panel.

Main control unit, wiring harness

A warning. Before checking the wiring, disconnect the refrigerator. Wear protective gloves and goggles when performing live voltage checks. Do not make live checks unless you are sure that you can safely execute them. Disconnect the refrigerator as soon as real-time testing begins.
