Brand Hansa founded a company from Germany "Magotra Handelsgeselshaft", which based on the Polish company "Amica Wronki S. A" and its plants has established the production of household appliances.

The history of the company began in 1957, just at this time, the very first gas-coal plate came off the assembly line, manufactured today by Hansa's household appliances. Specialists and engineers of the plant in the following years constantly engaged in the improvement of production technologies, studied the wishes of consumers, introduced the results of various scientific research works, etc.

For almost 20 years since 1961, the main and largest consumer of the products produced by the plant was the former Soviet Union, so the gas stoves of the brand "Wromet" are well known to our older generation of compatriots. In the early 80's, the company gradually expanded its sales market, as well as the range, now it is possible to see not only gas-fired plates, but also electricity, in its portfolio.

The end of the 80s of the last century was marked by the collapse of the socialist camp, so many companies experienced not the best of times, some of them ceased to exist, others lost their previously won status, etc. Therefore, in order to stay on the leading positions at this difficult time, the management of Amica Wronki SA decides to modernize the plant and take steps to enter other export markets for its products. Thus, the late 1980s became the beginning of the company's supply of products to West Germany.

In the early 1990's, the company, continuing to produce gas and electric cookers, opens a new factory that begins to produce built-in household appliances with an original design. Just this product was the basis of the goods of the future Hansa brand. At the same time, it should immediately be noted that it was this factory that was the first in Poland to master this direction of production.

Having the desire to offer home appliances to its consumers in full assortment, the company in 1994 decides to build a new factory that will produce refrigeration equipment. Two years later, the construction of the facility was completed, and thanks to the efforts of engineers, developers and factory specialists, the first refrigerator came off its conveyor, which was created using the most innovative technologies.

Literally in a few years, the Hansa management decides to once again engage in the expansion of the range of products. To implement their plans in the immediate vicinity of the factory producing refrigerating equipment is building a new enterprise that begins to produce washing machines. A distinctive feature of both these plants is the modern approach to the production and use of materials that are absolutely harmless to the environment and safe for human health. It should be noted that in Poland these plants are among the few that meet such standards.

To date, the structure of Hansa is a few modern factories that manufacture built-in household appliances and kitchen stoves. All Hansa household appliances known for brands Hansa, Premier, Gram and Amica comply with European safety and quality standards, which is confirmed by the certificates "ISO 14001" and "ISO 9001".
