Hotpoint W Series  washing Machine Errors

PROBLEM: POSSIBLE CAUSES / SOLUTIONS:

 

The machine does not turn on. • The device is not plugged into an outlet.

• There is no power to the socket, or the fuse is blown in the mains plug.

The washing cycle does not start. • The door is not closed.

• The ON / OFF button is not pressed.

• The START / PAUSE button is not pressed.

• The water tap does not turn on to allow water to enter the machine.

• "TIMER DELAY" was selected.

• "CHILD LOCK" is activated (see "The machine simply" beeps "when the program or option" below "is selected).

The machine is not dry. • Check the 2 sections above.

• The "DRY" button has been pressed to prevent drying.

When the drying cycle is over, the clothes are too hot. • At the end of each drying cycle, a cooling period is always added. If you get clothes, let's go.

The machine does not fill with water or "No water, check delivery" is displayed in the display window. • The water supply hose is twisted.

• The water supply hose is not connected to the water supply.

• The water pressure is too low.

• The water tap does not turn on to allow water to enter the machine.

• There is no water in the house.

• The intake valve filter is blocked.

• The START / PAUSE button is not pressed.

The machine is continuous with water and constantly drains.

• The top of the drain hose is too low - it should be installed at a height of 65 to 100 cm from the floor (see InstaHatbn).

• The drain hose is not properly connected to the sink to drain the water into the sink

• The end of the drain hose has gone too far down the riser, then

• The bracket U 'must be installed 100 mm from the end of the drain hose.

The machine does not drain or spin - "START / PAUSE" flashes orange. • The pump filter is blocked - (see Care and Maintenance).

• The drain hose is twisted.

• New installation - the stub or spigot has not been removed if they are connected to the sink.

• The drain hose hose or sink is blocked.

The machine rotates. • The spin speed is set to "OFF".

The machine does not merge and does not rotate - "REDUCED CREATIVES" & "START / PAUSE" blink orange and appear on the display. • The 'REDUCED CREASES' option is on, the machine drum will rotate slowly at the end of the program and "END OF CYCLE" will appear on the display. To end the program, press either the "REDUCED SOLIDS" buttons or the "LIGHT IRON" buttons (see "Cycles and wash functions").

• The program "SILK / CURTAINS" is selected at the end of the program, it will not merge, and the display will show "RINSE HOLD" wfl. To end the program, press the "START / PAUSE" or "ABBREVIATED ABBREVIATIONS" buttons (see "Cycles and wash functions").

The wash program takes too long. • The program time depends on the water pressure, the temperature of the incoming water and the poor washing. This wfl accordingly increases the program time (see "The wont sptn property" below) - (The most common reason!).

The display for 1 minute ends at "1 minute until the end", or the display changes to "Time to end" during the program. • The display time is for indication only.

The machine does not turn on. • The device is not plugged into an outlet.

• There is no power to the socket, or the fuse is blown in the mains plug.

The washing cycle does not start. • The door is not closed.

• The ON / OFF button is not pressed.

• The START / PAUSE button is not pressed.

• The water tap does not turn on to allow water to enter the machine.

• "TIMER DELAY" was selected.

• "CHILD LOCK" is activated (see "The machine simply" beeps "when the program or option" below "is selected).


The machine is not dry. • Check the 2 sections above.

• The "DRY" button has been pressed to prevent drying.

When the drying cycle is over, the clothes are too hot. • At the end of each drying cycle, a cooling period is always added. If the clothing seems too hot to handle, leave the door open so that it can cool before removing it from the machine.

The machine does not fill with water or "No water, check delivery" is displayed in the display window. • The water supply hose is twisted.

• The water supply hose is not connected to the water supply.

• The water pressure is too low.

• The water tap does not turn on to allow water to enter the machine.

• There is no water in the house.

• The intake valve filter is blocked.

• The START / PAUSE button is not pressed.

The machine is continuously filled with water and constantly drains, or the water remains in the drum or is stuck during washing. • The top of the drain hose is too low - it should be installed at a height of 65 to 100 cm from the floor (see InstaHatbn).

• The drain hose is not properly connected to the drainage receptacle so that water enters the machine, the drain hose must be located above the bottom of the sink to prevent water from entering the drain hose

• The end of the drain hose has gone too far down the riser, then

• The bracket must be installed 100 mm from the end of the drain hose.

The machine does not drain or spin - "START / PAUSE" flashes orange. • The pump filter is blocked - (see Care and Maintenance).

• The drain hose is twisted.

• New installation - the stub or spigot has not been removed if they are connected to the sink.

• The drain hose hose or sink is blocked.
