SIEMENS Electric Oven Error Codes

Error code Error description

 

Er1 Siemens PTC sensor defective or missing connection The appliance does not heat up, the fans work, only the temperature at the electronics module is taken into account. After a normal temperature measurement, the message disappears and the appliance continues to heat up. The text "call customer service" appears on the screen;

 

Er2 Incorrect main connections The device does not heat up, the buzzer does not turn off. The text "Incorrect mains connection" appears on the screen;

 

Er3 Overheating of the electronics module board> 100 degrees The appliance stops heating. Fans operate at full power, the brightness of the display decreases. After cooling the electronics module, the error message disappears;

 

Er4 PTC500 sensor short-circuited or main module error in the temperature measurement area The appliance does not heat up, the fans operate, only the temperature sensor on the electronics module is taken into account. After a normal temperature measurement, the message disappears and the appliance continues to heat up;

 

Er5 No communication with the program module or the microwave module The instrument is fully functional outside the P position, but without the clock function. After the successful test of the interface, the message disappears;


Er6 Door lock defective, for oven with pyrolysis, maybe the switch F3 does not close mechanically or is improperly adjusted. The lock defect does not allow pyrolysis. the message "Call customer service" appears, after the pyrolysis item is left, the message disappears;

 

Er7 Locking unlocking device The appliance door can not be opened, the message "Call customer service" appears;

 

Er8 1.25 A fuse in the power module is defective. For ovens, this message may be due to a lack of voltage on the L1. After starting work, an error message appears on the display of the microwave module. After pressing the Stop button, the message disappears;

 

Er9 ROM memory check After a reboot, ROM memory is checked, if an error is found, the message about it is loaded into the EEPROM;

 

Er10 An incorrect version is installed The main, software and microwave module does not fit the version;
